PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This is a flat roof installation of approximately 100KW Solar PV System. There is a lot of equipment on the roof, which necessitated building a sub-structure to mount solar panels on. With high wind speeds in this desert town, we had to do almost 800 attachments on the roof. All attachments were water sealed using heat-welding.

The system was also eligible for a utility rebate, which was to be awarded on a first come first serve basis. We had 3 scheduled projects in that area for the same year and did not want our customers to miss out on the substantial rebate offered by the utility. So, we had three of our team members camp out for 2 days and 2 nights straight, to be first in the line. Funny fact. Our team members could secure only spots 2, 3 and 4 in the line, but we did manage to get the rebates reserved for all our customers.
